 Usually we see that there are persons in remote areas/villages have less reach to banks or ATM. There may be many reasons whether it may be  far distance of Banks and ATM or unawareness etc. People even today use the old system to get money from Post Office in some areas. 

Post Offices are now equipped with Information Technology.  There are net banking facility in post office. Anyone can credit amount in 10 digit account Post Office Saving Account from anywhere. From one post office to another post office. Even amount from bank account can be deposited in post office saving account.

For this in internet banking of any bank,post office account 10 digits number will be added as beneficiary account with name and for IFSC code  IPOS0000DOP will be filled and then fund may be transferred from Bank to PO.

Are you registered in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi; and whether amount Rs 6000 per annum has been credited in account or not?

 Govt of India is giving Rs 6000 annually to  its farmers who have land less than 2 Hectare with some terms and conditions. The farmer should have land document, AADHAR card, mobile number, Bank Passbook, passport size photo etc. This is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare implemented throughout the country wef 01 Dec 2018. 

  To get benefits of aforesaid Yojana,   any eligible Indian citizen can apply to register either through CSC or by self with the website https://www.pmkisan.gov.in/

       For self registration click 'New Farmer Registration' in the aforesaid website and fill all details required. The application form will be forwarded to Govt authority ie Block, patwari etc for verification.

     After registration it can be confirmed through 'Beneficiary status' whether the amount Rs 2000 in four months or Rs 6000 per year has been credited in account or not through the aforesaid website with AADHAR or Account details. Other details including PM Kisan Samman Beneficiary Status, Beneficiary list,Status of Self registered/CSC farmers,Updation of self registered farmer, download Kisan Credit Card (KCC) form etc. may also be accessed through the aforesaid  website.
